Photography & Media Consent Policy

Introduction
Sahba Academy may occasionally take photographs, videos and audio recordings during lessons, workshops, performances, exhibitions, cultural events and other Academy activities.
This policy explains how such media may be collected, stored and used.
Purpose of Photography and Recording
Photographs, videos and recordings may be used for:

Consent
Photographs, videos or recordings of students will only be used where appropriate consent has been provided.
For students under the age of 18, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
For students aged 18 and over, consent may be provided by the student directly.
Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting Sahba Academy in writing.

Approved photographs, videos and recordings may appear on:

Respect and Appropriate Use
Sahba Academy will make reasonable efforts to ensure that all images and recordings are respectful, appropriate and consistent with the educational aims of the Academy.

Media files may be stored electronically on secure systems used by Sahba Academy and authorised service providers.

Please note that withdrawal of consent will apply to future use of media. It may not be possible to remove materials that have already been printed, published, distributed or shared before the withdrawal request was received.
Group Photographs and Public Events
Academy performances, concerts, exhibitions, workshops and public events may be photographed or recorded.
Where students participate in group activities or public performances, complete exclusion from photographs or recordings may not always be reasonably possible.
Sahba Academy will make reasonable efforts to respect individual preferences wherever practical.
Third-Party Platforms
Where media is published on third-party platforms such as social media websites, Sahba Academy cannot guarantee how those third parties may process, store or display content once published.
